Is this a scam? 21day??
 

Hey guys,

I have seen a guy on another reputable forum with reputable feedback, longitivity, who offers to remove any payment you have on hold in PayPal's for 10% fee.

It wouldn't be affordable for my business but it may come useful when I have cash flow issues...

It sounds like a scam, but many people have wrote replies saying thanks you


Anyone heard of anything like this ??

Funds get released after 3 to 7 days with tracking anyway and are only on most accounts for 4 to 8 weeks

I would think your just opening yourself up to being scammed in order to solve something that, which a bit of a PITA, can be worked around

Wouldnt trust anything like that - especially when the person offering it is asking for Bitcoin payment.

But PayPal systems is different. Ow..
I called in today for a payment on hold for 700usd on a fairly new account. I sent it and provided tracking and called them to ask when funds could be released. They said if it's an international sale and over 500usd it will never be less than 21 days...


I don't know if they were drunk ?

Or that is a new policy?

I also stated what happens if 3 days have passed after online tracking shows it's signed for.

She said that only applied to items under 500usd!?

Anyone got an light on this

In the case of international sales for large amounts then being full 21 days would make sense

I am not sure there is much that can be done to reduce it until the holds have been fully removed

lol if its this guy i quoted above.. sounds like he is just adding tracking numbers to reduce the time.. since in the US you get it released in 3 days after payment being received.

Yes Paypal will unblock your funds as a one off courtesy, on one payment of course not subsequent payments

That means that sometimes if you phone PayPal about 1 transaction they will unlock the funds before the 21 day holds are up.

But its generally something they only do 1 or 2 times for an account

He does not call paypal or any lame stuff like that.

Can release any funds .... 10,000 or 50,000 or more.

As long as not on ebay hold.
