Paypal 1099 Form for LLC or S corp
My CPA was wondering if I use an LLC or S corp for Paypal and they issue me a 1099, will the 1099 have my name on file or just the business name?
She said I can check this on my current non-stealth LLC Paypal account by downloading the 1099 for that one. But the weird thing is that the 1099 for that account doesn't even list my business name nor my EIN... it only has my real name on file and my real SSN. This account is over 10 years old and possibly I eventually put in my SSN before starting my LLC so maybe I never updated that info.
For the ones with LLC or S-corp, can you confirm with me does Paypal show your name on file or just your business name on the 1099 they generate? Obviously this is for tax paying purposes. Thanks |
