google voice issues 2017
 

recently when i log on to my ebay accounts to buy stuff i get the normal quick security check then when i try to verify it says waiting for response and i type 1 on google voice and on paypal it does not register at IDENTITY CONFIRMED AND moves onto the next page and allows the ebay purchase to go through.

what happens it after i reply with 1 from the text what happens it just sits there on the same page saying waiting for response............

is anyone else experiencing this issue with google voice or is it just me? i am having this happen for all of my ebay accounts that is with google voice

when i do the PHONE CALL OPTION on the quick security check i usually wait on my gmail account for the phone call and enter in the 4 digits on the pinpad and now i never get the phone call it just goes straight to voice mail on google voice.....

If it goes straight to voicemail, you have to tweak the g voice settings.

when i thought my stealth days are over........empirestate saves the day.

so yeah i tweaked gvoice to fix the phone call part to get past the quick security check...

but can anyone elaborate why the TEXT OPTION on the quick security check doesnt seem to register with paypal?

I would love to know this as well. The text option seems broken after Google added in all of its branding garbage in all of our texts. Now Paypal is waiting to see a "1" or "2" text reply and the first thing it receives is "G"OOGLE BULL**** HEADLINE. Is anyone else experiencing this and what can be done? I have looked all over in the google setting for a way to disable their junk but I cant find it. I thought plain text would work but it did not. Any ideas?

I just tried to get my GV to do what your talking about and there are no google headlines in my text, only the text I type. I tried both the new google voice and the legacy version.

I dont even get a phone call or text....AND i used a straight talk number and it still gives me this crap. I called the rep and they said its an internal security issue they are trying to fix....they r simply RETARDS over at paypal.
