| greth | 03-05-2017 08:59 PM | Female Account I forgot to specify when purchasing an account and was given a female account. I am male.
I know this will cause problems down the line so I am hoping to avoid them as best as possible..
Can you guys please tell me problems I will run into and how to prepare to avoid them? Obviously I should try to avoid talking on the phone but maybe I can have a friend talk for me.
Also I am trying to figure out how to withdraw the money, I have read a lot but the female account seems like it will make this a bit more difficult.
I was thinking to create a Wells Fargo bank account online. Maybe someone can please give me a bit of info on this as well?
Thanks! |
| greth | 03-05-2017 09:16 PM | Re: Female Account Actually I just read that they are pretty much not allowed to say anything due to the sound of your voice.
Is that for both PP and eBay? |

| Breakthecycle2 | 03-05-2017 09:29 PM | Re: Female Account I called in about an account with the name Lisa. I spoke with the deepest voice I could, just to see if they would question me. They did not. |
| greth | 03-05-2017 10:44 PM | Re: Female Account Lol. Thanks guys.
How about the Bank Account? I've been reading a lot and obviously I want an "easy" way to withdraw money..
Would I be able to just go online and create a Wells Fargo bank account and attach it to the PP? |

| parsierngue | 03-06-2017 07:37 AM | Re: Female Account For all they know you could be transgender, so if questioned, you could just say "yes" and then they should hopefully have the sense to leave it at that. Quote:

also what is the point of being transgender, if you look and sound like a samoan rugby player......I cannot wait til one tries to go to the
changing room at my gym, so I can kick up the hugest fuss...... |

Can I just make a new bank account under my name and attach it to the paypal or would that cause some problems? |
| yankee | 03-07-2017 12:10 PM | Re: Female Account You open bank accounts in your real name, ss etc... I dont understand what you are asking? I never have a hard time opening banks online or in person. Why would you? |

So you guys have to make a new bank for each PP? |

How would you suggest opening a bank in someone elses name seeing as you have to supply a photo ID in person or pass background checks online and supply an SS? |

Too bad they don't know how to internet or those cards would bring them money instead of debt |

| kvncsta | 03-14-2017 09:56 PM | Re: Female Account From my experience, they WILL assume your a scammer, you can just hear it in their voice. But it shouldnt cause you any problems, maybe your just a transexual ;) |
| NewYork | 03-15-2017 12:14 AM | Re: Female Account TECHNICALLY it may not matter, or could be b/c of trans-gender stuff, BUT I would not hesitate to assume that they will assign it a red flag, because if it raises suspicion, it raises suspicion, and I'm sure they have a way to make a note or check a box, or something else if anything doesn't seem right, even to the lowest level of phone answerers. I would (slowly) change that first name to at least a name that could be for both- John to Jonnie or something like that.
Technically it might not matter, or should not matter, but always assume that it does, just for the sake of saving yourself time (as in re-starting over) |
| Nikez87 | 03-15-2017 09:24 AM | Female Account In my experience, most of the accounts being sold come with male names. I've used these accounts without any issues so far, phone conversations or otherwise. I don't have the most girly voice but they can tell I'm a female yet never have really questioned it. Usually all I'll get is a, "and you're the account holder, (insert male name)?" I'll reply with a simple, "yes", and sort of joke about how I bet they've never met a female with such a masculine name. Sometimes I even tell a fabricated story about how my parents were either young and careless when it came to naming me or how they really loved the name, where expecting a boy, or etc. Just something to (A) confirm that the name is correct and to (B) have a lite friendly conversation to keep their mind at ease and from thinking anything suspicious.
