Using a Canada Business Paypal acc in the US
 

Have anyone used a Canadian Business Paypal account in the US? Would this cause any issue at all if the account was actually created with a CA IP address but will be monitored using a US IP address from now on?

Once my CA Paypal accounts are established and cookies in place, I have routinely accessed them with US IP. They are not business PP though - just personal. I usually keep the PP on the CA IP for a few months then kick it onto US IP - during that time I make purchases and withdrawals.

FWIW I run my CA personal account with a CA IP from 24vc, but the IP geolocation sometimes shows as a USA IP. Hasn't been an issue for me but I've always run this account with the same IP. I have switched IP's on USA business and personal accounts in the past with no problems.

Just out of curiosity, why not continue using the same CA IP you made the account with? I think the worst that can happen by switching to a USA IP would be you run into security measures where Paypal wants to call the phone number on file. So at the very least make sure you keep the original phone active during this transition...

I'm trying to purchase a CA business account and I'm in the US. As long as the IP address along with a US bank account won't raise any flag, I might just go with this route to save myself the trouble.

What about the Bank account? If its a US bank account on a US paypal would that even work?

I was told that a US bank account would work with CA PP. Anyone can confirm this? thanks
