Using PayPal while Traveling
 

Hey guys. Long time lurker here.

I'm thinking about doing some traveling soon (Malaysia) and apparently PayPal has a section where you put in your travel plans (dates and country). Has anybody used this with success (without limitation)? I'm a little nervous because my workflow has to be tight and I want to be without interruptions abroad.

I currently have 1 stealth, and another I need to verify, but both have been doing fine. I'm also contemplating using a country-specific stealth account abroad (Malaysian account with a dongle--maybe) with a Loadoo just in case **** hits the fan.

What do you guys think?

PayPal will work anywhere in the world where you are on a trip. It is important that you have a valid phone number from this PayPal account.

I would not recommend you using Paypal aboard if it's a stealth account.

My best advice for you is to leave your home computer on, and remotely access to it whenever you want to make transactions.

Software such as Teamviewer will do fine for such task.

Teamviewer is your solution. I use it whenever I travel.
Do not attempt to login from a foreign IP address - itll get the account in trouble.

That sounds like a great idea, but what if it a permanent relocation?

The beauty of VPN is that u can access anywhere where u have internet connection.

I personally use a separate Proxy for each account....so If I have to travel, no problem at all.

I typically do not use a VPN in my day to day life. Are you saying that I should get one and then start using it while I'm at home AND while I'm in Malaysia, so PayPal can see the consistency? Sorry for all the questions. I just wanna make sure my ducks are in a row.

Do you think getting one of those security codes/chains from them will help? I hate how they are so up in arms about MY money and MY income. They should simply allow the account to be used from anywhere unless there is fraud and I call in.

Anyway, what do you guys think?

Some of these previous posts just go to show what rubbish people on the forum talk, usually people with zero practical experience.
