2 QUESTIONS ABOUT VCC AND VBA - please help if you can.
 

Hello all,

Right im starting to gain some knowledge from this forum and i thank you all.
I would love to gain further knowledge and help others in years to come like the experts in here.

Im aware of the following.

VBA - Virtual bank account. not used to with drawing money just verifying the bank account...which you can then add your REAL bank account/Savings account to paypal with withdraw funds (paypal can not see your name on your bank account just routing number known as the sort code in the uk and account number.

VCC - Virtual credit card used to confirm AVS - Address verification system on paypal.

NON AVS VCC - can be used to confirm the address on paypal

**If anything ive stated is wrong please correct me if wrong**

Now my questions are that need clearing up. i can not get my head round.

1. Does the VBA details need to match the paypal address?
if yes how are you able to you buy them in the market place?


2. VCC - has to match the address on paypal in order for AVS to go through?
so how is it you can buy VCC's? if the address needs to match?
wouldnt the card need to be sent to the address ive put on my paypal in order for me to obtain details? like 3 digit number etc?

Basically i just want to make sure im doing everything correct with understanding.
Sorry if im being a pain would just like understanding.

2. I've answered this already - IT DEPENDS ON THE VCC!

If the card is NON AVS then the address DOESN'T need to match
If the cards is AVS then the address DOES need to match.

If you purchase a NON AVS card, you pay your money and the seller supplies the card details.

If you purchased an AVS card then you pay your money AND supply the address the card has to be registered at. Seller registers card at the address you provide and supplies card details.

What aspect of this are you struggling with???

As for VBAs, if you are setting up UK Paypal accounts you don't need to worry about VBAs as the ones supplied on this forum are used on US Paypal only.
