Im Limited, Friend is not, question about having Paypal Business Account
 

Hi All, so about 4 years ago I did a few things and got my paypal and ebay banned. My friend and I are thinking of doing a side business selling product on eBay. He already has a PP and eBay that are clean but we are wanting to open a business paypal together and I guess my question is will paypal be asking me any info that would link me?

I have moved states so basically all my info is new(still have same phone number though) He is wanting to get us paypal debt cards and I just thought I would come on here to ask you great people if I am in the clear.

Lastly we plan to go over 20k in a month. So we will be paying taxes on everything. Will there be an issue with paypal asking for my social? Please let me know if there is anything that I should try to avoid or any issues I may run into.

Welcome to the forums. 1. Dont expect to operate at such a high levrl off the bat - build slowly. 2. Did you usr your real info before? Reusing that info can cause problems possibly - linking via personal info

I used all real info before, we plan to use all of his info for making the business account. I am just wanting to make sure paypal will not ask for any of mine.

Then research on this forum about using EIN under his name -
Should be fine to avoid using your info

If you use all of his info they wouldn't even know you're part of the business at all. There's no reason for them to ask for any of YOUR info.

You can't get a PP debit card using any ⊗⊗⊗⊗ info of any kind.

And you can't get a PP debit card if you've been banned.

Nobody in their right mind gives a business partner unrestricted access via a debit card to business funds.

You MUST pay taxes even if you DON'T go over 20K.

This is an extremely BAD idea, and everything that's been asked here makes it look worse.

You're headed for trouble.
