Can this be done
 

Hi,

I wanted to check, so if the paypal account is not in my name, (stealth account) but its all linked to my bank account,

Can i

1, add money to my paypal with my visa card from the same bank account

2, use the account to buy stuff even if the balance is not enough in the paypal so it would need to take some money from the bank account? is there an issue with names? ie paypal is trying to pull money from the bank account but its not the same name???

If you add money from card or bank account paypal take information about you, and you are not stealth also its risky and maybe suspend you.
Buy stuff with paypal balance, not from card its risky

1. No. You won't be able to add your bank card as the AVS won't match.

2. You could do this but it would be a really bad idea as Paypal would be able to see the real name on the bank account.

Use the Paypal balance

OR

Add a VCC to your paypal that has enough funds on it to pay for whatever it is you are buying.

Ebayorbust is right - about USING funds from your bank account (i.e. uploading from bank to fund PP purchases), it is best not to do so repeatedly because PP does get the real name on the bank account. It may not be an issue but it could become one if a manual review is done...just be aware

I also wanted to point out that VERIFYING a bank account will reveal the name of the account holder to PP as well. This is because PP does two small ACH PUSH deposits, then PULLS that money back immediately after.

Even if your stealth PP seems OK after verifying, rest assured they will know the true name on the bank account used, thus may choose to limit and ask for bank statement and ID details as a result.
