UAccount UK "Unbanking" Service
 

Hi there,

So there's been some recent talk of a sheriff in town called UAccount which appears to be a UK-based service that can provide a plastic card plus a Sort Code and Account Number (perfect for PayPal) like a normal bank would, but without the hassle of having to open a full bank account to do so.

Has anyone used them with PayPal? Experienced issues or has it all gone smoothly with withdrawing funds and verification etc.

I can't wait to hear your thoughts.

There are quite a few threads about them

They work fine to start but Uaccount will request a lot of docs off you sooner or later if you get too much into the account and they can close the bank account down

You will need to be on the electoral roll if you want to easily be able to open an account with them otherwise you will need to provide your real ID

Like others have stated, they will request documents shortly after opening your account after you receive £100 or so.

They have restricted my account 6 weeks ago and everytime i contact them they said "we are waiting for an update from the restriction team. They are yet to tell me what i am supposed to have done or offer any solution. They have over £1000. Do not let them steal your money as well
