Making a new Paypal
 

My eBay was suspended, I'm in good standing with Paypal. I want to make a new paypal to link to my new eBay account but I have a few questions.

1) Does the personal info on my eBay and new linked Paypal have to match?
2) Does the personal info on my new Paypal (personal) have to be different from the old paypal (business) linked to my suspended eBay (I know they have to be different bank accounts)

Long term that just doesn't work I am afraid! The new PayPal would nearly always get limited within a few days to a few weeks

Why would it get limited? I have absolutely no issues with Paypal, only my eBay is suspended. The Paypal that is linked to my suspended eBay works just fine and is unlimited.

Usually its people trying to do this the other way around!

eBay would link the new eBay to the old eBay and therefor get limited

Ok, so Paypal won't require me to upload an SSN unless I hit the 20k/200 mark correct? So I should make a paypal with a false name, attach another one of my real bank accounts (obviously) and just stay below the 1099 mark?

That old PayPal should never be used again with eBay. Can be used elsewhere.


Your new accounts should have matching info.

Nope. PayPal can ask for the tax info on projected sales.

You have to be aware of that from the start of selling.


Again, reading the forum helps get the ideas.

Big big no no, never create a new ebay account with a paypal account that went down. Ebay will link them and they will get both suspended

I think my initial questions were worded improperly as I am not trying to create a new ebay with a paypal that was linked to my suspended eBay. What I am wondering is how to create a new paypal to connect to my new eBay, that is all. How do I do that? How do I sign up for a new paypal account so I can sell less than $20k/200 on eBay in year without having verification issues.

Any account can be faced with verification requests.

You create accordingly

OP, I highly recommend you get the ebay stealth.

Reason being you are getting here and there answers for here and there questions, when you really need a full understanding and basics on how to not just create accounts, but also how to operate them.

Trust me, it's really worth it and it'll save you a lot of aggravation.
