Should i try again??

Hi Guys,

So i am/was selling digital keys on ebay for sometime and yes got my paypal suspended no big surprise there. now i know the big sellers must just keep getting new paypal account to keep selling on there. some sellers have sold 40000 + on just one listing. so my account is top rated and im thinking is it wroth a go at getting a new paypal (buying one from someone on here) and trying again. Other people do?

Any input would be great.

Thanks.

Some people do use this tactic succesfully.

You'll only know if it works for you by trial and error.

Very good point.

Thanks.

Have any of you guys try this?

Just adding in a new PayPal to an eBay account can work but only for so long. Sooner or later you will just end up with a lot of limits PayPal accounts

I would guess that some of the eBay stores that you are looking at have 10k+ if not 100k+ feedback levels? That makes them very very strong accounts and they can do things that a lesser account cannot sometimes

Re: Should i try again??

For a long time I sold digital product codes on ebay and for about the first five or six months I was selling without any issues. I think around month 4 I started making about 20k a month in that niche. The problem came when I started getting my listings reported to ebay and paypal around about month 7. Paypal limited me and ebay suspended me for 3 days because they said my adds were misleading because I stated in the ad that I WOULD ship the item if they requested me to but that I would send a digital image of the product upon payment for free.

So I thought the first time it was eBay filters catching me but then it happened again and again and again and again on hundreds of listings and each time eBay would suspend me a little longer until about the fifth time they suspended me for two months.

By this time I had about seven accounts selling in that niche but my main account with thousands of feedback on it was the one that was getting suspended and the one making me 80% of my money in that niche.

When it got suspended for two months I contacted eBay for the seemingly 20th time about this issue and I finally got transferred to an supervisor in the fraud department. It was with him that I went back over all the changes to my ads that I made in the past while talking with other ebay reps on how to make my ads less fraudulent or deceiving as they put it. He told me that it was not eBays system that flagged my ads it was ebay users.

Then he looked into it a little deeper and told me that it looked like the same four users flagged all of my ads and that the four users also sold the same products that I sold. All of us who sold in that niche had very simlier ads stating we would send a pic for free and ship the item on request but I was the only one getting suspended. The other big seller had over 20k sales on his account and he was never suspended.

So basically my competitors were getting me banned. So I opened 15 accounts in that niche and knowing that I had more money then the other four guys bought 2k licenses and sold them at my cost and drove them out of the niche for about three months because there was no money to be made.

Eventually ebay permanently suspended most of those accounts. As far as paypal accounts go I have always trashed Paypal accounts when I lose the eBay account.

Also when my paypal accounts get suspended I usually dump them and get a new one right away.

Now I don't need the money off that new account because I have a cushion to play with in the bank so it doesn't bother me to wait 90 days to get my money and deal with all the holds but for some of you guys that might hurt quite a bit.

But I would always recommend not screwing around with suspended paypal accounts because they can take your money for a long time.

eBay accounts I ride them until I get a permanent suspension!
