Do Paypal Accounts benefit from age?
 

Hello

Ebay Accounts benefit from being older than 90/180 days, is the same true for Paypal Accounts? I know transaction history etc. is very important for Paypal to determine how much they trust you, I just want to know if age factors in as well or not at all.

Age does play a factor but for pp, you also need to factor in security e.g. verification, confirmation, etc - as well as what has already come into the account $wise

Age does play a factor, even without any sales or transactions.

For example Its more common to find no 21 day holds on older accounts even if they have no transaction history. On a brand new account it's very very rare. That's just my experience though.

One of many factors, and not the most important.

Transaction history and chargebacks probably come first in line.

I think yes, if you have a few sales on the account. Even if you get 10$ ...and wait for 2 months you will get that e-mail "Congratulation! You are now an established seller".

It's like ebay ... they start counting from first sale but on ebay you can't sale from first day because you will get limited. I always let accounts stay 2-3 weeks before getting even 1$ into them.

Also remember those PayPal holds? 60 days and 10 items and 150$? ammount is small...items are high and days are even higher. it's about trust.

also when i am aging my accounts i don't go 20-30% each month. I am doing 50% each 2 months. It will be fine even if you go from 10 000$ to 15 000$. Never had a problem. Just make sure you sold around 10 000USD in the past 2 MONTHS.
