Paypal email verification
I recently tried to open a stealth account and got everything set up with a verified card, bank account, and phone number. However, when I tried to verify my email it wouldnt go through. I kept hitting the verify email link and it would send a new email and then I would click that link and it would take me back to paypal without verifying email. Finally I called customer service and explained the problem and the guy told me he could verify it on the phone if I gave him my ss number. I told him I had already verified bank, card and phone and I wasnt giving anymore information out. Then he wanted my phone number again and I told him it has already been verified. He finally said he couldnt help me without more information. Has anyone else had this problem with Paypal lately? I have never run across this before. I even tried a different email address and it wouldnt verify it either. Is this some trick so they can get more info? I know paypal has been doing strange things lately......asking for photo ID, stopping certain internet bank accounts. Weird. |
