Refunded wrong person
 

So I had an item the buyer didnt want. I got it back and ended up refunding the wrong person. The person is cool and said they would pay again. My question is how do I do this without looking suspicious. The tracking will show delivered before payment. Anyone done something like this before?

Dont think thatll be an issue.
What exactly is your concern? something on EBay's side? they dont care about such things - they get paid either way.

My issue is

1. Getting my money in a timely fashion. Its a "large" sale. About $350
2. The tracking causing some issues because im essentially putting a tracking number for a delivered item before I was even paid. (In the realm of what the system sees)
3. Im not super worried about a dispute but Ive def had times when paypal wouldnt release funds until they checked with the buyer and the buyer just never responded to them. Which tied up my funds.

This is pretty important. Putting in a tracking for an item that was delivered 9 days ago while being paid for it today may cause the system to not recognize whats happening. Which may in term put the account under scrutiny or cause me to have to call and then paypal start asking questions. We dont do stealth because its smooth sailing. Its always a risk and was just trying to see what level of risk i was doing.
