Limited Account (HELP!!!)

Hi all,
I successfully made a stealth account and managed to sell heaps on it. I have about $1000 in my PayPal and for some reason they have just made my PayPal limited. This just happened today after like a month or two from being created. So I phoned them up and asked how to unlimit my account. They said I need to submit a government issued ID for them to sight (he did say that they only look at it, so no legitimate check).

Do you happen to have any back up accounts you can use right now?

About submitting docs, just so you know, it's not a guaranteed thing that they'llrelease your account.

And do you know why you were limited? making too much too soon on a too new account perhaps?

You ask the question and answer it.
You sold heaps on an account a month old. You have the stealth guide. You read threads on the forums (I would hope) and you should have known this could happen - especially given your pattern of activity.
Out of curiosity - what country is the account from? you never mentioned that.
Give them what theyre asking for and cross your fingers and hope for the best cause like Saijin said - there are no guarantees with paypal. If what you submit to them doesnt work youll be waiting for 180 days.

I definitely have some backup accounts! I have since ordered an ID for $30... I got limited as soon as i purchased something for $80 with my paypal (at this point I hadnt been selling for 2 weeks).
The account is American! And yes, fingers crossed!!!!

Well sounds like you're on the right track. Backup accounts are always a smart move.

Do you even know what an American ID card looks like?

What exactly did you order? A drivers license of some sort?

Because there is no universal 'American ID' that I'm aware of...
