Funds held for 2 weeks and PayPal still won't let me use it!

PayPal held my funds for two weeks and once it was released I tried spending just $40 and they gave me the "Sorry we can't complete your purchase at this time" message! I am absolutely so freakin frustrated! What's the point of waiting 24 or 48 or 72 hours if I waited an entire two weeks and am still getting this message?? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

These things are the reason so many people try scamming paypal and vice versa, why paypal does things.

It may not have been because of the hold, it may have been a system issue.

Did you call and ask why?

PayPal does it for themselves so they can earn more interest off of your money. Calculate how many people they must do this to on a daily basis.. that's a lot of money.

Try the phone app and see if you can send a payment there, due note... Watch out for linking!

Do you think they'll give me the actual reason why? I'm assuming they're just going to make something up and I won't know what to think.

One of the accounts got limited.. they're asking for me to confirm my identity and a credit card statement even though there's no credit card attatched to the account, lol. I ****ing hate PayPal.

Yeah it happened on two.. the rest of my accounts are fine.

this ' we cant send your payment right now' is a soft limit and usually goes away after 72 hours from first try.

if it blocks you from sending funds, dont keep doing it over and over and over again or it will trigger a limitation to prove ownership.
