If I have money on my vanilla visa gift card. How DO I turn it into cash without selling it? Any suggestions?

You can either go down the route of buying something like an Amazon giftcard and selling it for Bitcoin/Cash/Bank Transfer or do as I like to do;

Use a site like Revolut or Circle, load the account with the visa then transfer it to your bank.

When you sell it for bitcoin or cash/bank you lose a percentage..

That goes without saying, you expected it to be free? You're ALWAYS going to be loosing a % when cashing out a Vanilla, it does not matter what you do. If it be buying an item and re-selling you will have to pay fees or loose a small % on the resale, the same with services where they may charge a deposit or withdrawal fee.

They must of changed it, because I know a dude who used Circle to unload $200 prepaid visa rebate cards from LG, try a few similar services. Try Revolut or take the advice given and find other services, its very easy just engage yourself and use google.com to find similar services.

Also, wrong section bud. Vanilla visa's dont have anything to do with PayPal.

Buy groceries or gas or make your car payment or something else you need and hang onto your own cash. Saving your cash in hand is the same thing as spending it and then having to convert the card into cash to get more cash.

Pretty much everybody takes a card with a Visa logo. No fees for that at all, you pay nothing.

Why make everything so darn complicated?

Yes you made your point, have you tried Revolut? They accept SOME deposits from prepaid.

Or, set up a Stripe account, go over to Selly.gg and link the two together. Lets say you have $100 on the card, create an item for $100 and buy it from yourself using the card.

You will be charged 2.9% + 30c fee. From there you can cash out to your bank.

Im not going to hold your hand through the process, try going onto the site and reading the FAQ's, or maybe, just maybe you could dare to make an account and see?..

Sarcasm aside, if you want me to mentor you my time costs money. I have given you all you need to know, for free.. Not to be rude, but do something for yourself mate, you might learn something new.

Dashawn, use the gift card for gas or something you would have to use cash....nothing like being given advice that is overcomplicated.

This is the way to go IMO. I never load more than the minimum amount when I buy them. Then I use the card to buy gas for the next week or so.

Another option is setting up a merchant account/payment gateway so you can run your own card. But it would be kind of expensive to set all that up so by the time you're done you will have lost a lot of money, and you'll most likely have a new hard pull on your credit report, lol.

Go ask the guys and gals on the dark web. I bet you could find a creative solution there! :thumb:

i doing that usually on my website with paypal business gate or any gate like (2checkout) linked to it and use it from random pc to be like a new customer on my website and purchase with the full amount then cash out lol ;):laugh:

Stripe and square works but you can't do too many or you could get shut down.

I have used PP before to cash out visa gift cards - stealth principles apply - one time payments...

I guess if you never buy anything. Are you somehow getting many thousands of dollars in cards? Or getting loaded cards for free?

You never buy anything from stores? Gas stations, Walmart, Groceries etc.... Swipe the card= zero fees.

Using Circle more and more, people should get on it. It is super simple and no hassles whatsoever. Forget PP, Circle has got it going on.

Circle doesn't accept vanilla visa. Also its funny how you can respond to a thread I have but NONE of my skype messages or MONTHS!

Never say never. You just dont know how to use Circle and Vanilla, that does not mean it is impossible. It is pretty easy to use them together, actually.

Dude, walk into a Walgreens. Buy a piece of gum or whatever and tell them you want cash back. After you pay, the cashier will hand you the amount you selected at the register. Pretty easy.

You don't need these elaborate solutions.

Go to Walmart, buy item for max value of your card with VVisa as debit (need to setup and do it through PIN). Take the item to customer service with your receipt and ask for a refund.. changed your mind & don't want the item anymore.

Walk out with cash.

They usually refund in the form of payment used, card to card, cash to cash. buy with a card, you don't get a cash refund back.

Just buy an item from Walgreens and take it back, whether it be at the same location or a different one. The price of the item can even be higher than the amount of the card. They'll give you the money back in bills if you ask for it.

Either that or use the money to pay some bills or gas if you have a car. It's really simple.

credit card. Does Visa Vanilla still works for pp?

As of like the middle of April, Vanilla Visas and Vanilla Mastercards have been causing the automatic limitation of accounts after payment from a sale is completed. It could also be because of other factors adding onto that, such as VPN use, age of account, category of item sold, name on account or even just the amount of the sale.

There are prepaid cards other than Vanilla available. Walmart for one, they're everywhere. They also sell several different brands, including Vanilla, so be careful.
