US Resident making Canadian Paypal/Ebay .. Help
 

Hello everyone,
I have a few questions about making a Canadian paypal. I have a CA VPN,
Im wondering if ill need a canadian CC to verify, or will a USA CC work? Also, will i need a CA phone number or will a USA phone number work?

Can i use a CA paypal, with a US Ebay?

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

MM78, Im trying to do the opposite.
Im familiar with US stealthing, just trying to get more knowledgeable about Canadian stealths, the do's & donts.

What makes it more complicated? Just trying to get a grasp of CA accounts.

Are you familiar with using CA stealths? I noticed you are from the USA as well.

Well here's the thing.....You can make a Canadian Account but I would recommend you keep the Canadian Ebay with a Canadian PayPal. Now, some have pulled off a Canadian Ebay with US PayPal and vise versa, just depends on how comfortable you are with risk.

I've never made a Canadian Ebay/PP because I don't have a need to do so....I can make US accounts all day long.

Now, if your making a Canadian Account....logically speaking, you will need a Canadian Address, Canadian Phone Number, CC not entirely sure but maybe someone knows.

Thank you very much for your advice! I'm looking at the Canadian route because they don't ask for any TIN. I'm trying to avoid having multiple EIN numbers for each stealth. Is that what you do? Use multiple EIN for your accounts? If so, do you need a DBA to get EIN?

Also, just an off the wall question. If I want to switch my PayPal account I used to receive payments on my eBay account. Would that be ok? Neither the old or the new paypal are limited, and the new PayPal wouldn't be linked to any former accounts.

The new pp could be linked to the old pp that was used on that eb account. Will it cause problems? Only time will tell

yes and no. every situation is different. It also depends on what you tell paypal if you have a problem. It also depends on how strong the account is. Typically paypal will ask for SS number if they find something to be fishy.

Canada PP will not ask for SSN - they will ask for Canadian ID

Yes - Canadian ID is usually in the form of driver's licence or passport...

To withdraw money from CA PayPal you need Canadian Bank account?
So only local people can do it?
Or I can visit Canada to open some stealth accounts or open bank account remotely?

As a default for CA Paypal, you need Canadian bank account.

US bank account can be added but I am sure it is not accepted automatically anymore....you will likely have to CALL Paypal to manually add.

I don't know if you can open bank account remotely - it might be possible with big banks like CIBC, Royal Bank of Canada and TD but you will LIKELY have to submit Canadian ID for file purposes. You cannot do stealth with banks - that's dangerous

Is it easy to have PP add the US bank for you? Do they ask any questions when doing so? Have they ever said no a refused to add a US bank?
