Increasing numbers of pending reviews.
Today, on all my 10 stealth accounts I got payments that were added to pending reviews for up to 3 days:
"We’re taking a closer look at this payment. It’s required for some payments and normally takes up to 3 business days. Don’t ship until we tell you it’s ok." |

| it is like "boom , boom , boom boom" ... happening to many of them. i got like 20-30 pending reviews across 10 accounts, and in the past i saw those reviews max a week.

| Yeah, they changed their review system from 24 hours to 3 days... maybe they now changed some algos also. |

I didn't change any code on the payment application, so it should be on PayPal dev side.

We have been using PayPal to process our transactions since 2009 and do a lot of volume. Up until this point these Payment Reviews happened very infrequently. They went from being infrequent to 18 (and counting) in a 12 hour time span

Someone just send me two refunds. One was a CC that went through, the other was from my balance and it says pending? Why would a refund be "pending"? |

| He did not had enough money in his PayPal balance, so they (PAYPAL) try to use his bank account. PayPal don't like to loose money, so they will only send your refund when they get his money. |

I noticed this too. Especially this week, large part of my payment or income went under review for 24 hrs. |

Just bare in mind that although the review is '24 hours' or '72 hours' that is can sometimes end up taking an extra day for it to actually get released
PayPal are not great at sticking to their own timings! |

I am asking myself how many of % sales will go throw. Like if somebody paid from a credit card how can figure it out if the transaction was authorized or not ?! |

It's doubtlessly a glitch on their end, you can call them you know and see what's going on, but you should just relax, it'll work it's way out and smooth out in a few days. |

| Both direct payment and ebay sales. For the invoice, it still happens, but it is less than 5% chance that it went under review. |
