Paypal re-statement
 

Been a PayPal member since 2005, in 2012 they suspend us for too many refunds.

One of our employees switched the payment method from authorize only to capture so before we could verify the product was ready to ship as we normally would then capture the funds we had to refund.

If the product was not ship-able we would void the authorization

So our refund rate jumped, we fixed it but at that time could not get anyone to understand the reason.

So we setup an alias ebay/paypal account under another name 2 years ago.

We think enough time has passed and we contacted someone at Paypal to reinstate the account, but they are asking for our shipping address which is the same as the alas account.

We are concerned they will link them and kill the alias

any opinions?

So, give them a different address.

Get a UPS box, they'll give you a street address that isn't an obvious PO Box.

I don't see why they would reinstate the PP, though. Time isn't the deciding factor, it's the nature of the offense.

can't use on the reinstate request because it is right on the website.

I guess I can change the alias address, will they pick up on a change like that?
