How to change ip address with Arris Touchstone TG2472 cable modem

Hi cox cable cable came to install my cable, but they upgraded my Modem to a Arris Touchstone TG2472 Gateway Modem an Now i can't seem to find out how to change the IP address, can anybody help me with this..

It will work you should unplug the cable for 10 mints. Not for seconds or half Minute

Changing Mac addresses on modems is a PITA. Hook u a router and it will be a 30 second job.

my new modem is a 2 in 1 i tried to hook up a router no success unless im doing somethin wrong

I know how to change the ip with the router but i moved so when cox cable came to hook up my service the updated my modem to Arris Touchstone TG2472 it's a 2 in 1 an i can't seem to figure out how to hook the router up to even work
