| rookprop | 08-29-2017 08:29 PM | Re: "Your transfer is delayed" Yeah. Happened around the 15th. Noticed money came in normally and got the normal email saying processing transfer. My account is coming up around 15k of transactions and its about 6 months old. Glad to know its not just my account and that I didnt trigger something. Seems to be going around like the flu |
| nickopedia | 08-29-2017 10:50 PM | Re: "Your transfer is delayed" This message seems to pop up on my PayPal accounts that are linked to, or funds received from eBay when I attempt to w/d it.
I do not get this message on my stand alone PayPal's NOT linked in any way to an eBay.
I suspect it has something to do with eBay. |
| Russell007 | 08-30-2017 10:20 AM | Re: "Your transfer is delayed" Same was happening to me. Only i got the 72hr instead of 24hr. Not sure why. My guess was because i made a lot of transfers per day. (I'd much rather make 2 150$ transfers than 1 300$)
Anyway it was happening to me with every transfer, and took about 1 additional day for transfer to be completed. Last night it stopped all of a sudden and transfers are made within 2 hrs. Weird. Hopefully its gone for good. |

| DejaVoo | 08-30-2017 08:03 PM | Re: "Your transfer is delayed" I received this same message when I went to transfer $100 to my bank on Sunday and just received the money in my account yesterday. |
| aking | 08-30-2017 08:51 PM | Re: "Your transfer is delayed" I got the message as well but the money still transferred within 48 hrs. |

Just tried transferring funds to my bank account from one of my stealths and got this message:
"Your transfer is delayed" --- "For security reasons, we need a bit more time to review this transaction. This can take up to 24 hours, but we'll email you as soon as we have an update."
However, after that I got the usual email saying "your transfer request is processing"
Could this be a glitch? First time I've ever seen this message.
Anyone else? | Just got message as well on 4 year old account, But transfer went fine 24 hours no issues not sure what paypal is doing |
| MARKW | 08-31-2017 03:12 PM | Re: "Your transfer is delayed" I did a transfer for $900.00 at aprox. 10:30 AM Central Time Tuesday, Money Arrived in Account at about 4:30 PM Wednesday, about 30 hours. I received the same message delayed, but transfer went through as normal. Just did another transfer for $240.00, received delayed message, we will see when the transfer post. A little scary, but if $900.00 went trough OK, hopefully the smaller will be fine and this is all just a glitch. |
Re: "Your transfer is delayed" I've gotten this 4 times out of 7 withdrawals in the last 30 days. So far the only thing that happened is the withdrawal was delayed an extra 24hrs. |
Re: "Your transfer is delayed" I just got this stupid message, I got it after a $130 transfer. |
| phaz0rz | 09-01-2017 07:22 AM | Re: "Your transfer is delayed" I haven't had it since my last post in this thread - but it's starting to worry me how many stealths are reporting this same problem. I'm scared. |
| MARKW | 09-01-2017 08:24 AM | Re: "Your transfer is delayed" OK, something kinda of strange, I reported yesterday that I did a $900 transfer on Tuesday, was available Wednesday, then yesterday I did another transfer for $240. This morning, I logged into my PayPal account and the $240 transfer has been refunded to PayPal for a "Technical" issue. No Email from PayPal, not other indications as to why, and no holds on the funds, just returned to my PayPal Account Balance. Anyone else have this experience? |
Re: "Your transfer is delayed" This summer retail was slow for everyone. I'm just thinking hypothetical here, but maybe it's just an ploy allowing them to keep a higher total in their account.
The other thing I was thinking is maybe it has something to do with browser finger printing. In the last couple months I started getting random notification's from canvas defender extension that EB/PP were attempting to finger print.
If anyone got this delayed message while using VMware, it'd kill that theory. |
| phaz0rz | 09-01-2017 08:42 AM | Re: "Your transfer is delayed" ^^ Both the accounts I got it on were Vmware/VPN -> Windows XP -> Portable FF
I've been thinking that they're starting to tighten security around us who sell on accounts with no tax ID. There have been a rash of users on here lately bragging about how they were able to scam Paypal out of money. This could be a way for them to manually check into an account's history before allowing a withdrawal on possible stealth accounts.
I'm probably wrong but that could be the case. I certainly haven't had this problem on any of my business accounts. |

I wonder what "workaround" people are going to demand after PayPal starts getting tougher on people. |
| dhand | 09-01-2017 11:41 AM | Re: "Your transfer is delayed" I got the same message for one of $160 Monday night. Fri morning it's still not transferred |

I suspect it has something to do with eBay. | This is a very good point, and although I have not experienced this issue, I do think it is part of the problem. Same with people getting limited on the first sell. I also believe this is ebay related and not happening to stand-alone paypals. |

| mattmayes | 09-02-2017 12:39 PM | Re: "Your transfer is delayed" Just have one account that was seeing this get limited after a $650.00 withdrawal. Asking for everything including a stool sample. Interesting, man how I hate Paypal. |

- The account got limited 2 days after, but 3 days after the limitation - the transfer went through instantly. I have the cash in hand :). This is just PayPal being dumb PayPal, expect this "glitch" to be patched soon. |

| Mike Maven | 09-04-2017 07:14 PM | Re: "Your transfer is delayed" I'm somewhat new to stealth, but my instant debit card transfers have been posting on the 3rd day and withdrawals to my bank have been posting on the 4th day. Accounts are verified and confirmed, but only maybe a month old if anything.
One of my Etsy purchases went through fine, then the next 3 went through that review process. All made it out fine, just making me much more cautious about making so many transfers. I'm tempted to just get another fresh IP and get started on some back ups now just in case. |

On a Side Note, I also upped the re-transfer amount, performed on Friday and received today, Tuesday, with Monday being Labor Day, may have actually been received "Next Business Day". |
| jporter396 | 09-05-2017 07:06 PM | Re: "Your transfer is delayed" brand new ebay and paypal( 3 weeks old to be exact) $60 in payments received so far. requested a $20 transfer and hit with this after having just confirmed my bank account and requesting the 20 transfer. 5 sales, $60 total, electronics category, vmare, off phone mobile hotspot. will see what happens |
| secret storm | 09-06-2017 05:13 AM | Re: "Your transfer is delayed" I have been getting the "Your transfer is delayed" across almost all of my accounts. I think this gives them a reason to zap your account if they please and also to review more in depth if needed. |
| Payelectronica | 09-08-2017 07:29 AM | Re: "Your transfer is delayed" Starting around the Middle of August my transfers stated being delayed also with the red triangle. 2 accounts on same laptop. One account is aged almost a year but just added bank account and my first 4 transfers have been delayed. Same with 2nd account except it's just over 3 months old. No problem with accounts on other laptop with similar account history. |
| aking | 09-08-2017 07:44 AM | Re: "Your transfer is delayed" This transfer delay is really getting old. I'm used to having $ transfer in a day. I transfer small amounts to pay for shipping. Now I'm having to use my own funds to pay for shipping costs b/c I've been waiting for $ to transfer for 3 days now, smh. |
| aking | 09-08-2017 07:44 AM | Re: "Your transfer is delayed" Anyone call PP to ask exactly what this is? |
| rookprop | 09-08-2017 10:04 PM | Re: "Your transfer is delayed" I hate paypal. They should just focus on their end of business and not get involved with ebay and items and their worth.
It has nothing to do with stealth accounts because I have a legit account and theyre doing it to me as well. |
| MARKW | 09-08-2017 11:19 PM | Re: "Your transfer is delayed" I have to say, it seems weird. I have heard from many people that when you consider how much money they may be holding across untold numbers of accounts, that the daily interest they could be making is a lot. When you think about it, if you make an instant payment at 7 pm and it comes from your bank account, it comes out the very next morning, or at least it does for me. Why then, when we do our transfers does it seem like it always takes longer? These are all done electronically, so everything in theory should be the same either way? I can do a transfer at 7 pm and it will not show up until the second day or even the third? I have a suspicion that maybe this new Delay Thing is an attempt to hold funds a little longer, perhaps to make more money on what they are holding and / or so they can attempt to have a little more time to investigate any given account if they so choose when making transfers. I know that it has been said more than once, we may have all been using PayPal for many years, I know I have used it since 1997, but for the most part some of this online stuff is uncharted territory, and whether we like to admit it or not, PayPal has probably been responsible for developing a lot of the rules and regulations involved with the online use of funds, as they were one of the first, and undeniably the largest at first. |
| deathmunkey | 09-18-2017 11:14 PM | Re: "Your transfer is delayed" I've had the last 4 withdrawls give me the review b.s. .. called on every one [account 15yrs old, never a prob and move way more $ than this] and been told 4 different things:
1: its a glitch , no worries, its fine [took 5days]
2: They are doing a review to catch money laundering [wtf?! coming from barely understandable indian guy either in a sweatshop phoneroom or his kitchen .. cant tell
3: The federal reserve is reviewing it , out of our hands [BS... the fed doesnt give you the "your transaction is under review" .. paypal does
4: This is normal, its always been 3-5 biz days to get your money [again, total bs .. its been 1 biz day for me for 15 yrs..]
another interesting thing, is I get sent to the indian support peeps whenever I ask about withdrawls... but if I ask for disputes or debit or anything else, I get nice clear english speaking folks....
So... it's either paypal's way to make 5 days more interest on our $ or they are selling out to the feds to review every transaction over a certain dollar amount. .... or both... |
| kirkland | 09-19-2017 01:16 PM | Re: "Your transfer is delayed" Yeah, I'm still getting this even for trivial transfer. Lol "the federal reserve is reviewing it", give me a f*cking break |
| RussellSimon | 10-02-2017 12:27 PM | Re: "Your transfer is delayed" I think it simply means that Paypal is getting a little more suspicious of your Paypal. Be careful |
Re: "Your transfer is delayed" It was a glitch, and isnt happening any more, it stopped weeks ago. If you get it now its for another reason. October 02. 2017 | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 07:29 PM. | |
