Re: "Your transfer is delayed"

I'm somewhat new to stealth, but my instant debit card transfers have been posting on the 3rd day and withdrawals to my bank have been posting on the 4th day. Accounts are verified and confirmed, but only maybe a month old if anything.

One of my Etsy purchases went through fine, then the next 3 went through that review process. All made it out fine, just making me much more cautious about making so many transfers. I'm tempted to just get another fresh IP and get started on some back ups now just in case.

This morning, I logged into my PayPal account and the $240 transfer has been refunded to PayPal for a "Technical" issue. No Email from PayPal, not other indications as to why, and no holds on the funds, just returned to my PayPal Account Balance. Anyone else have this experience?

Update, I have received my transfer this morning in my bank account, so the "Technical Issue" may have just been a glitch, just as BJAMMIN stated, all may be fine and no worries at this point. On a Side Note, I also upped the re-transfer amount, performed on Friday and received today, Tuesday, with Monday being Labor Day, may have actually been received "Next Business Day".

I have been getting the "Your transfer is delayed" across almost all of my accounts. I think this gives them a reason to zap your account if they please and also to review more in depth if needed.

Re: "Your transfer is delayed"

Starting around the Middle of August my transfers stated being delayed also with the red triangle. 2 accounts on same laptop. One account is aged almost a year but just added bank account and my first 4 transfers have been delayed. Same with 2nd account except it's just over 3 months old. No problem with accounts on other laptop with similar account history.

This transfer delay is really getting old. I'm used to having $ transfer in a day. I transfer small amounts to pay for shipping. Now I'm having to use my own funds to pay for shipping costs b/c I've been waiting for $ to transfer for 3 days now, smh.

Anyone call PP to ask exactly what this is?

I hate paypal. They should just focus on their end of business and not get involved with ebay and items and their worth.

It has nothing to do with stealth accounts because I have a legit account and theyre doing it to me as well.

Re: "Your transfer is delayed"

I have to say, it seems weird. I have heard from many people that when you consider how much money they may be holding across untold numbers of accounts, that the daily interest they could be making is a lot. When you think about it, if you make an instant payment at 7 pm and it comes from your bank account, it comes out the very next morning, or at least it does for me. Why then, when we do our transfers does it seem like it always takes longer? These are all done electronically, so everything in theory should be the same either way? I can do a transfer at 7 pm and it will not show up until the second day or even the third? I have a suspicion that maybe this new Delay Thing is an attempt to hold funds a little longer, perhaps to make more money on what they are holding and / or so they can attempt to have a little more time to investigate any given account if they so choose when making transfers. I know that it has been said more than once, we may have all been using PayPal for many years, I know I have used it since 1997, but for the most part some of this online stuff is uncharted territory, and whether we like to admit it or not, PayPal has probably been responsible for developing a lot of the rules and regulations involved with the online use of funds, as they were one of the first, and undeniably the largest at first.

Re: "Your transfer is delayed"

I've had the last 4 withdrawls give me the review b.s. .. called on every one [account 15yrs old, never a prob and move way more $ than this] and been told 4 different things:

1: its a glitch , no worries, its fine [took 5days]
2: They are doing a review to catch money laundering [wtf?! coming from barely understandable indian guy either in a sweatshop phoneroom or his kitchen .. cant tell
3: The federal reserve is reviewing it , out of our hands [BS... the fed doesnt give you the "your transaction is under review" .. paypal does
4: This is normal, its always been 3-5 biz days to get your money [again, total bs .. its been 1 biz day for me for 15 yrs..]

another interesting thing, is I get sent to the indian support peeps whenever I ask about withdrawls... but if I ask for disputes or debit or anything else, I get nice clear english speaking folks....

So... it's either paypal's way to make 5 days more interest on our $ or they are selling out to the feds to review every transaction over a certain dollar amount. .... or both...

Yeah, I'm still getting this even for trivial transfer. Lol "the federal reserve is reviewing it", give me a f*cking break

I think it simply means that Paypal is getting a little more suspicious of your Paypal. Be careful

It was a glitch, and isnt happening any more, it stopped weeks ago. If you get it now its for another reason. October 02. 2017

Dang it. It came back. PayPal is killing me. I need the funds on time to pay for shipping. Now I have late shipments bc it's taking 3-4 days to transfer funds. Smh

Re: "Your transfer is delayed"

After getting ''Your transfer is delayed'' on a good majority across my accounts it went away on most of them after more withdraws but now I'm getting the same message again every time I withdraw on almost all of my accounts now.

This is some kind of safeguard that PayPal is putting into place to help fight loss prevention because that is what PayPal is all about is money.

Yes, I have to do all my paypal withdrawals on Monday in order to get the money the same week. It seems to take 72 hours to go from pending to complete, then 1 day to transfer to bank.

Yup, the amount doesn't seem to matter. I've gotten it with a $25 transfer, a $486 transfer and everything in between.

However, it is strange that I don't seem to get it every time. One transfer went through without the delay. I am now trying to figure out what is triggering this but its not the transfer amount.

Withdrew ~$1,000 twice this week. Completed in a couple hours on PP side... next day on bank side.

Old, non-stealth account though...
