Paypal fees turns account negative

I sell on Grailed, a market for streetwear/designer clothing, and they have a 6% fee that they combine with PayPal fees 3% or so, so in total 9% or so. I sold an item for the second time on this 1 week old account for $57. Grailed uses invoices/goods&services

The money was sent to my account with a 21 day hold, never had this before but I have read that this is normal? Is this to be expected? Also I saw that since the $57 was reserved, the fees were not deducted by that amount, but by the available funds in my PayPal. I had $20, and they took around $6. What happens in the future when I sell and the money goes on a 21 day hold and I don't have available funds in my PayPal?

Also how do I handle the whole 21 day hold thing? Do I just keep selling and have my funds being held by PayPal for 2 weeks after uploading tracking? When will this stop?
I operate on a swedish PayPal account.

the 21 day hold is normal for newer accounts, it doesn't have a date when it'll stop, but if you keep shipping fast and get good feedbacks, it'll eventually drop.

To pay for invoices set up a secondary source like using your gift card or so.

Hello, I appreciate your response. The thing is the fees are automatically deducted, but on past accounts it has been from the money that I receive. Lets say I sell for $50, then the % fee is already deducted before my money hits PayPal account. But since this money was put on hold, the fees were paid by my PayPal balance.

That's odd... I'm looking at my accounts and the fees are auto deducted before the final $ shows up on my accounts.
