Address to ship to (in paypal) to avoid suspension
 

Im pretty sure. i lost about 5 pp accounts in a row because the merchandise I buy off of Ebay (older laptops) have been shipped to the same address (mine) . And I think I just screwed up using the address of a local UPS store because of accidental linking. I cant use a PO Box for a variety of reasons. So the question is where the hell do I ship my older laptops to? Any other ideas?

Get another UPS address and don't screw up any more. They will also receive your package and keep it there for you, which comes convenient if you are at work or something and need someone to sign for the package and keep it for you. Other option is a neighbor or family member or friend.

how did you get linked?

Your ebays are in stealt address but you bought and had goods shipped to your real address right? Did you input your address in to pp message box, how did they know it the messaging was just between you and seller, Ive donr that before, and it is ok..

They wanted me to add and re-verify a bank account for some reason. I accidentaly put the same bank account # from another pp account that was not restricted. This caused them to then limit the other account and investigate everything thoroughly. They then put a permanent restriction on both accounts.

just be careful not to get linked

Just put random punctuation and spaces in your address.
eg. Real Address
14 Billy Street
South ⊗⊗⊗⊗ Town
54703 USA

Stealth Address
14 B'illy St
Sth ⊗⊗⊗⊗ T own
54703 USA

That method has always worked for me.

i think paypal bots can smell the subtle change

I'll post these questions again here because seems to fit with my problem:

-when creating my stealth PAYPAL account, with a new CC...do they double cross the address (my changed stealth address) with the 'real' info of the CC ?I mean when signing in a new account you put your address, and as said here, they might 'smell' the changes, I mean perhaps a point, different floor number, but I'll try to see if it can pass their 'Skynet' software.

-If used in a stealth mode (I'll always use a friend laptop, or a public computer) could be linked the PAYPAL (not Ebay) to my other PAypal account? the one legit which I still use to make payments to other merchants (not EBAY) which ise PAYPAL shopping cart?

it seems PAYPAL look other way when you are buyer, and let you send money, even when my Ebay acc got suspended.......mostly because from what I read here, they limit the withdrawal...not the sending part ....Of course I'll be very carefull using another PC with different IP, using GMAIL and getting a new CC, perhaps a Gift Visa card....

What do you think, it's flawless this plan or I'm missing a step or something?

You are just going to buy on ebay, am I correct? You could set up the ebay/paypal account with matching addresses. Those changes should keep you under the radar. Neither ebay/paypal are so nasty to buyers.:peace:

yep, only to buy....but they are nasty anyway..hehe

I still didnt clarify, how did the OP get linked for buying address? How did pp find out the address it was being shipped to?

yeah greenbean, like the dumb mf that I am, I added the routing # and account # from a prepaid card that was already used . I thought it was the one that just arrived in the mail. Thats the last time I do anything without double checking. live and learn:rolleyes::rolleyes:

I understand you. To help next round, have an excel sheet with everything
on it. Don't be hard on yourself 'coz ebay/paypal upset everything for us.

righto, saw something about shipping address and buying and wondered how they got info that way.

OP made a mistake, we all do, benefit of having a few accounts is it isnt a disaster if it happens..

aww thanks guys. I actually just started using a new way to organize my info that I absolutely love. I dont know if anybody else uses it here? Its the identity editor from robo-form. Anybody try it? Like a spreadsheet it keeps everything organized in its own cell but the good part is . Once you put the information in- it its final form. It fills in the actual info on the web site. And I will keep all extra information like bank routing, acct# in a custom section. Its a super fast way to create ebay/gmail accounts too (under a minute for both --because you can clone the model file--all you do is change the key info) and when you need the info it autofills. Anybody want to try it and let me know what they think? Its a real time saver. I can send you the model identity file that I use?

Interesting, I will have to look into it...Is there a free limited version or you have to buy one of the packages?

I think the free limited one works but they limit the # of Id's you can create??? I have a cracked older version that I use that works for me. I can email you a copy of it and the model identity file if you want. You can tell me if im crazy or if it is this the best way to organize your identity info

Just went to a friend's house and tried to establish my new 'stealth' account..........but the register page after I filled told me there was a problem and sent to the homepage..............anyone else got this? is it because I'm using gmail? or perhaps i'm trying to get a new account on Sat night?

any help would be apreciated! I got all the stealth stuff in excell, but Ebay doesn't want me to registe a new account....

Oompaloompa: I dont know if I made it clear but all I was using to organize the identities is Roboform. Not the passcard editor that most people use but the the identity editor- where you can put everything in. And of coarse I added a few custom fields for ebay and paypal. Very simple stuff. Download: AI_Roboform_and_RoboForm2Go_Pro_6.9.92.rar is both the roboform program with the model identity and Download: model.rar is the model identity. If you have roboform already , u just need the second file- its only 3k in size. U can pm me if u have questions. thanks
