Paypal 21 day hold removed, can I withdraw as much as I want now? Paypal 21 day hold removed, can I withdraw as much as I want now? I had an account limited a while back because I withdrew more than $500 in a 30 day period, and don't want that to happen again.
Am I safe here? |

Re: Paypal 21 day hold removed, can I withdraw as much as I want now? How do I know when I can withdraw more? |
| SaiJin | 09-23-2017 11:31 AM | Re: Paypal 21 day hold removed, can I withdraw as much as I want now? You can withdraw as much as you want. I always emptied the account. |
| dachilla | 09-23-2017 11:44 AM | Re: Paypal 21 day hold removed, can I withdraw as much as I want now? Never had an issue with withdrawing... but not sure how much $$$ has built up on your account. For me its usually about 100-300 $ and I withdraw all at once without issues.
It goes without saying that I withdraw the cash to my verified bank account and don't send it via paypal to friends and family :) |

1. 90 days from first sale.
2. 25 successful transactions.
3. At least $250 in total sales. |
Re: Paypal 21 day hold removed, can I withdraw as much as I want now? Ok but how do I determine what my withdraw velocity allowance and when I can transfer out more funds? |

If you dont provide them, the account is limited and you have to wait 180 days for your money. |

| phaz0rz | 09-25-2017 02:53 PM | Re: Paypal 21 day hold removed, can I withdraw as much as I want now? I think this is relevant...
Recently I've noticed $1000/month withdrawal limits on accounts of mine which were originally made with prepaid Visa's. I've seen it on at least 2 accounts I made myself. Accounts I made with prepaid Mastercards don't seem to have this limit yet but they are showing up in my wallet as "prepaid" cards. When I click the notice by the withdrawal limit it says one of the ways I can "confirm" my account and remove the withdrawal limitation is to add my debit or credit card. So I think it's safe to say prepaid cards are becoming not-so-good for confirming accounts.
Strangely though accounts made with a prepaid Visa but never "verified" by adding either a real bank or a VBA don't seem to have this limit. Presumably since they don't have any ability to "withdraw".
Before I started noticing this a few weeks ago I'd never seen a withdrawal limitation on any of my accounts. For me, this limit is applied to accounts which are "verified" but which are not properly "confirmed" in PP's eyes.
@idds - Unless you're getting a notification telling you about your $1000/month withdrawal limit, then you're safe to withdraw as much as you want. |

Re: Paypal 21 day hold removed, can I withdraw as much as I want now? I'm not saying I have a limit per se.
Once I had an account get a request for documents, and I was told here on this forum it was because I withdrew too much money too fast and that I shouldn't withdraw more than $500 in one month. |
| phaz0rz | 09-26-2017 07:22 AM | Re: Paypal 21 day hold removed, can I withdraw as much as I want now? That's nonsense IMO. Nobody can run/grow a business with <$500 per month..
Usually when they request documents it's because they doubt the origin of what you're selling. |

There didn't ask for any documentation related to products. |
| phaz0rz | 09-27-2017 09:13 AM | Re: Paypal 21 day hold removed, can I withdraw as much as I want now? Alright, fair enough. Still though I think it's more likely that the larger than usual payment volume triggered the limitation rather than the larger than usual withdrawal. I don't know though. I could understand if your large withdrawals made Paypal nervous based on a high chargeback rate or based on an account being inexperienced if they weren't able to reverse the withdrawal. As we've all recently learned though, Paypal can reverse every withdrawal an account has ever processed (thanks to our middle eastern VPNer for sharing this info).
I say stuff based on my experience. I've never had any problems doing daily $X,XXX withdrawals from my accounts - but they are also established accounts which very slowly built up to their current sales volume. |
Re: Paypal 21 day hold removed, can I withdraw as much as I want now? This account is close to a year old, not really sure what to do, there is a bunch of money there I would really like to transfer. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 02:42 AM. | |
