Does eBay link you thru Paypal if...

You have buyers pay you directly in Paypal with eBay item number using a non banned email address (after removing all of the previously banned email addys)?

I'd like to know that too because I have a pristine (for now anyway) PP verfied premier account that I would like to use with a new, registered email.

I wouldnt risk it. Dats mixing it. If they dispute it theyll put so and so adres the old one for that item number to ebay. Then i guess it would be a ban.

You can't add new emails now. i think Ebay has caught on now from what I have been hearing.

ebaykilla 08-31-2007 06:15 AM

chris you still can......I been doing it with my last account before I got banned and no it was not becuase of paypal changing email primarys. I know this because they associated me with an account that I had that didnt even have a paypal account it was due to IP address or my photobucket when I host HMTL images.

Where are we talking about adding emails? Just want to be sure.

egyptman90 09-02-2007 06:52 PM

they will ink your accounts if that paypal account had any accounts suspended...remember that paypal is sharing more and more info theese days...your better of just making a new paypal account

why don't you not list saying you accept paypal ("checkout with credit card through secure checkout") and then send them an invoice via email with a paypal checkout button?

If you do that you run the risk of being shut down for nonperformance.

DogFacedBoy 09-03-2007 07:02 PM

Unless it is in PP's TOS, which it might be, they are outright lying.
I just sold my first item under my newly created EB account and payment sent to its own corresponding PP account. When logging into PP to check the details so that I could ship the item I got a sales pitch how "PP will not share your information" what a bunch of crap!
Just as map makers will put in non-existent little towns so they can spot the rip-off artists someone should run a sting on PP and EB and see if they are indeed sharing and then bring a case to the proper authorities.

I know... it'll never happen, just venting
