PP 180 day hold withdraw through VBA?
 

I know you can't withdraw to a vba on a regular PP account but what about one after a 180 day hold? Thank you for your time.

Welcome to the forum.

You need to use a real bank.
If the account is in stealth name, the bank need to accept mismatched names.

This means you need to use a REAL (bricks & mortar) bank and NOT a virtual/online account like Greendot, Gobank, prepaid accounts, etc.

Doesn't it let you withdraw through VBA but then triggers a limit on your account? What about after a 180 day hold, since the account is already limited it wouldn't matter if it still lets you take out funds through a VBA. What about calling in and asking for help withdrawing through a VBA, anyone tried this?

Guess I have another question about PP asking for SSN when you are projecting to make more than 20k a year. Just stay around 1k in transaction a month and should be okay? Any other tips to avoid getting a SSN request trigger now that PP is asking more frequently?

Your "VBA" was once an actual bank account which was closed shortly after it was sold to you. Since the bank account no longer exists it can't be withdrawn to.

@csebastian, you simply cannot withdraw to a VBA - you need your own bank account even after a 180 day limitation

If you withdrew to a VBA and the seller who sold you the VBA hadn't yet fully closed the bank account, you would end up withdrawing funds to a bank account controlled by the VBA seller.

Most close the VBA instantly after it's sold though.

Ppl actually have done this by error in the past and then come and reported on the forums. Few ppl have been lucky that withdrawal has failed but some have actually....lost...money...if the VBA is still open...
