DBA Certificate Needed?
 

So after talking with some representatives at Shopify, I am going to be using Shopify Payments to fulfill my orders. I also have the option of adding my PayPal business account as well if need be.

So I am a sole proprietor, and when signing up for Shopify, I have to use my legal information, which is no issue. However, I can have a business store name that is different from my real name. That way when someone uses there credit/debit card, that name would come up on there statement rather than my name.

So would I legally have to obtain a DBA certificate in order to use that name for my store? I planned on using my Youtube Channel name because that is what everyone will recognize me at. Any feedback on this would be appreciated. Thanks.
