Weird Message when Withdrawing Funds
 

Hi when i try to Make a Withdrawal from my Paypal account to my Bank Account i get the Usual ''Your transfer is delayed for up to 72hrs" and then 5 mins later the amount is transferred back to my paypal balance with an email saying important message about your paypal balance

Looks like the 21 day hold is back on your account.

These holds can come and go with PayPal depending on what you sell, age of the acct, etc.

How old is this account?
How much money (% of available balance) are you trying to w/d?

Acct is 4 months old i had like approx $256 available for 6 days with $120 pending and i tried to transfer $150

How long should i wait to try and withdrawal again and what amount is appropriate. i think the last time this happened i tried to attempt a withdrawal

Because this is a fairly new account, you need to take smaller amounts for the withdrawals and space them out more. Maybe $50 every week, but no more. Also don't take it out all; keep at least some of the original balance in there.

Everyone has their methods, but slow and steady is key.

Got you thanks just find it weird they would send that message with that important balance message maybe its a warning

It's either a glitch or a warning sign. Generally, holds like this are not re-applied to a PP account for no reason. Do you have a lot of customer problems?

Whether it's an old or new account, it can happen. It happened to one of my 6 year old account, perfect standing in any way, no flaws. Then I just got the 21 back on for 2 weeks.

I didn't change a thing, I shrugged it off and kept moving.

Now if you are doing something different than what you regularly do and you have problems on eBay, then that is a different story. So only you know this

Never had one complaint or return i remember seeing it on maybe one other of my accounts i tried to resubmit the withdrawal i think i day later and got limited

I would let it sit for at least 3 days, I try and let a full week pass if possible, in situations like this.

You have 2 options so far.

Fox said let it sit. Me, I just keep going and didn't care. But again, my account was in perfect standing. If you did something naughty, then yea, I'd let it sit or do something to get more positive reviews to counter the negative some how.

So it's your choice what you'd want to do of course.

no single complaints or returns/refunds on the account i'mma just let it sit for a week and do a $50 transfer and hopefully all goes well

My account i made a transfer of $75 to my bank and they said it is pendig for 48 hours for a review, its been roughly 50 hours

How old is the account? could be a 21 hold or some other security measure, perhaps try giving them a call

I stopped selling on that account for awhile. Then withdraw but by it from there.
