Can paypal find my bank account with my debit card
 

When I was new to paypal I linked my debit card and it got limited. Someone filed a chargeback and now my account is in the debit. Can paypal find me through the linked card.

Did pp withdraw money from your bank account?

I think he means his account went negative from a chargeback, and the only thing attached was a debit card.

Youre good dude, paypal might send you a bunch of threatening emails but they arent gonna do squat but chalk it up as a loss. youre good

Stop giving out poor advice. You are assuming too much.......

He should resolve his debt.

He could still score a Credit file negative.

Why do I say This? None of us know the full story of the debt etc.

your right. he should resolve his debt, i never said not to. im merely stated some facts. and what may seem like poor advice to you may be good advice to someone else, he was worried about linking and i supplied information, take it or leave it. stop playing world police, who are you to judge?

Paypal can find a bank account through a debit card. They even have a "withdraw to bank through debit card" option now.

So since it's your real info that you used in your accounts, I'm assuming, yes, they can potentially find you if they want.

I think you should figure out who filed the charge back, why and get in contact with that person or contact PP and try to be protected from the charge back. At this point you have nothing to lose as your account is already limited, we are more concerned about the money part.
