VPN from 24vc.com
 

Hello.

I have a question
I have bought a polish IP from 24vc.com.

(only for paypal, NOT ebay)

And i wanted to buy one thing, but the seller told me that paypal detects that i am using proxy/VPN - is it normal that with FRESH dedicated IP from 24vc.com paypal can detect it as VPN/proxy? The seller didnt accept my payment because they detect it as VPN/proxy.

Is it normal or what? How to check it why paypal detects it that way?

Although eBay and PayPal can can certainly find out who the IP block you are using is assigned to, therefore have a general idea of the "type" of connection you have (i.e. mobile broadband/ISP/datacenter/etc). In general, there is nothing wrong with using a VPN so as long as the service is not heavily used/abused. That's why most of the free VPN's out there are a BAD idea to use.

As the saying goes, you get what you pay for. This is particularly true of running your stealth accounts. It's a good idea to pay a little extra for a service that is known to work. That's the reason the Fresh IP's are considered safe as they supposed to be unassigned to another user before.

I dont have problems with this paypal account, just was curious if they can detect it etc.
But i dont get limited, i am making payments and receving money so everything is okey.
Just was curious if they can detect my VPN even if its fresh dedicated ip.

You mean you're buying something from someone's site? If that's the case they probably just checked your ip and found out it was a VPN and got worried, some sites tend to worry about that stuff more because they think it leads to more scammers especially if you're buying pricey items

but that has nothing to do with paypal... as long as ip is fresh then you won't have issues with paypal if you operate it properly

Yes, anyone can detect someone using a VPN if they have access to the IP.

The post you wrote above was posted while you were using a LeaseWeb VPN.

Your goal is to use a IP/VPN that doesn't have a history of being used and reused by scammers and the like. Fresh VPN's from reputable companies will give you a VPN that has never been used.

I got it now :) I though the IP was banned or sth, didnt know anyone can detect i am using VPN.

IP is good, i mean i dont have problems with paypal like "123" member posted above. Just probably the seller got worried or sth (it was 20$ sell) but still he got worried i guess.

All of proxy ip's can be detect. they use datacenter ip's. if you want to undetect you have to use somethink "special" and its not cost 10$ :)
