2 deposits paypal verification
 

I know there are threads already about this issue, but I still have doubts.
I just confirmed 2 deposit amounts on a paypal account in which the name on bank account does not match.
Paypal can or can't see your name when getting the deposits back?
I'm not sure about this..

If you are using the microdeposit method of confirmation (for USA banks) there is a good chance PP will get the name when they PULL those deposits back out of your account in a single transaction.

My bank (Wells Fargo) confirmed the ACH code they use on that pull is the same as a normal debit pull. They use a third party called Fiserv that sends ACH messages back to the Merchant Processor (in this case PayPal) along with the account name/type and other info.

That said, even if they see the name doesn't match, there's a chance PP might not limit you based on that alone, but they may be aware of it when doing a manual review.

Again, this applies to the USA Automated Clearing House (ACH) system. Not sure about if this applies to the EU or not.

Maybe it just applies to your bank?

And honestly, like in the other thread, it could very well just be a dumbass employee at your bank... none too different than the PP/eB employees we get to talk to sometimes lol!

Technicall, anytime money is sent from a bank to any service, the sending name would show up on the receipt, whether physical or electronic - standard banking practice to show source
