Matce | 11-12-2017 08:13 PM | Adding new phone number for "quick security check" Hey guys,
I'm aware that this is a known issue, but I'm wondering if ANYONE was ever successful in adding a new mobile-number to pass the security check.
I was actually able to add a new number, deleted the older number and made the new number my primary. Even was able to get the confirmation text and entered the PIN.
However when PP wants the "quick security check" I don't see the number as an option. There is, in fact, none - and when I try to add the confirmed number I get the usual "not registered in your name".
So I'm wondering if anybody was every able to get a new mobile working to pass the check? Maybe call in from this number and do some stuff within the account? Add a bank or card, etc?
Obviously I'm dreading to call in to Paypal! Not even sure if they can somehow activate the new number for the system.
