Under 18 limited PayPal
 

Hello,

My PayPal got locked today for: "suspicious activities". I now need to send in legal documents for unlocking my account. Since I'm underage, I can't do that. Is there any possible way other than waiting till I'm legal age, to get my money out of the account?

Sounds like this account is a lost cause...
Wait the 180 days and then withdraw your funds. Not much else you can.

Hey! I do know this is an old thread, but I am having a sort of issue. My paypal account got limited and I am underage. They are asking for ID, Shipping information (I sell digital fortnite accounts so I put that I am a digital seller) and an invoice. First of all I did not create invoices and second of all they ask for my ID.

I plan to send my ID in and wait for them to release my funds after 180 days to my bank.

bUuuUt I want to use this bank account with a new PP account so I can continue selling (this time under parent's info).

Do I call and ask them to unlink the bank account?

How do I got about doing this? Also should I create a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ invoice? If so how.

I was only required to send my ID and I have withdrawn my money by now. I have no experiece with invoices so I can't help you with that. But they are not gonna unlink your bank account, you will have to use a different bank account.

I am just going to throw some information that I found out recently.

I had an old PayPal account that was over 8 years old. I had made it when I was 11, and only used it to buy small things off forums and such. Eventually I started selling on eBay and was making thousands each month. They suspended the account and sent me an email saying

Based on the information you submitted, we understand you were less than 18 years old when you created your PayPal account.

According to our PayPal User Agreement, you must be at least 18 years old to sign up for a PayPal account. As a result, this PayPal account has been closed. Now that you're over 18, you may open a new PayPal account.

Here's how to sign up for a new PayPal account:

I called them, and was told that since I "signed" the ToS while I was under 18, the contract was invalid. It was illegal for them to hold my money, and they transfered it to my bank account instantly.

I have no idea if this was just in my case, but this could be an option.

What's the best way to keep on selling? Should I create a PP biz account under parent's details and link another one of my bank accounts? (I have a checking and a savings account).

How do I not trigger red flags?
