No 21 day hold?
 

My 1st sale on new stealth paid today, I expected it to allow me to ship, but remaining I expected it to hold for 21 days.
mine shows available, is this normal? is it because it was small balance?

I shipped through paypal, i accepted a 7.00 offer, shipping was only 2.77
Just curious. I used to leave couple hundred in paypal. Im just wondering if they stopped the 21 day holds

It happens.
Especially when the amounts are relatively low.
If you were to sell something higher value it will be held.
And understand that even on lower values the holds can still be placed.

Correct - these 21 day holds can be random, but for the most part you can actually predict them, i.e. if you sell something high value, high risk etc. then its bound to get put on hold, even if you've built a little history.

The idea is simple - consistently keep everything in good shape, and you wont experience holds. ;)

Same thing happen to me i sold a $10 dollar item and got money instant. I then sold a item for 70 in auction and they held it. Four days later i sold a item for 30 and no hold.

I swear they don't hold the first couple if they're small just to suck you in and give you hope, then once you start bringing in more sales *bang* there it is. :(

many factors play into the hold including the source of payment

I know in the UK even with small first payments, they are prone to being held for the full 21 days.

Whether that's different in the US or not, I'm not sure, but I wouldn't think so.

Nothing new. Low priced item usually come through fine. Seems like anything over $10 gets held. Most of my low priced items get instant payments, but some are held. I can't seem to figure out why though.

after the 21 days when you get your funds does that mean no more 21 days for other transactions after or will they all keep going to 21 days?

Have you passed 90days, 25 transactions already? if not, payments will still be on hold.

And usually, i get my funds 2-3 days after the item has been successfully delivered.

Here are a few things that will help reduce your 21 day holds down to about 5 days:
* Shipping item out on time.
* Submitting valid tracking information to eBay and PayPal.
* The buyer leaving a positive feedback.

After approximately 3 months of doing this, your holds should be removed. However, just because holds are removed doesn't mean your in the clear.

You are still subject to one off holds on certain transactions, such as:
* Selling risky items.
* If you become dormant for a period of time.
* If your sales grow too quick.
* If you have a lot of disputes/cases filed against you.
* If a transaction is reported unauthorised.

So no, after 21 days holds won't just disappear. The idea is simple - consistently keep everything in good shape, and you wont experience holds.
