anyone using WF recently?

Went to confirm my WF account and checked the activity for two small deposits but the only activity that shows on my online is +$25.21 and -$.21 ... didnt break em up into the two items needed for verification. Anyone see this before?

Yeah I've seen it every time I've added a WF account to PP. Seen it at other institutions also.

It's showing as one transaction because the two deposits are still pending and haven't been officially "posted" by the bank. Check back tomorrow and you'll see the two amounts.

If you call wells fargo and explain and ask for the two they should tell you. pretty sure thisis what happened when i verified my wf account with my pp too.

I have had worse.

The deposits did not arrive with two attempts.

I wouldnt touch WF if they told me they'd pay me 10 percent interest. Too many monkeys in that circus. Between the investigation of false account pumping and the general way they conduct business, it is possible theyd torch a stealth bank account. Just my .02

I use Wells Fargo business accounts and they are working fine for stealth (mismatching names) without issues.

My WF acct's are a mix of personal and business, all accepting mismatched deposits almost daily. Never a problem.

Personally I'd rather do business with a semi-crooked bank (semi, but still FDIC insured lol). IMO that makes them LESS likely to be critical of banking activity.

Re: anyone using WF recently?

Also keep in mind that WF is really desperate for business, even before the ⊗⊗⊗⊗ accounts scandal. Every time I would visit a branch, the staff would literally BEG me to open more accounts with them.

Although WF is a tad "crooked" I like doing business with them as they rarely, if ever give me problems question my 3rd party deposits.

This is unlike CHASE that is very selective and will close your accounts on a whim if you do something they deem as even a tad "suspicious".

All if this does make sense if they like to play the game.

Re: anyone using WF recently?

It depends on the branch your at.

Chase you will receive your deposits from PP really fast because they process ACH batches really fast.

WF I used them for business. Fairly fast the only thing I didn't not like about Wells Fargo is walking into the branch . They are so friendly it makes you feel uncomfortable.

PNC is really slow for deposits and also got my couple of stealths shut down because of them.

US Bank is good but nothing great.

BOA is ok but nothing great.

Citi is a one of my favorites. Fast deposit and no issues whatsoever

Bottom line I use chase and Citi for PayPal. Withdraws are quick and efficient. Once you do a withdraw with chase on Friday you will get your funds by Saturday.

#1 is chase
#2 is citi
#3 Wells Fargo
#4 TD bank

Oh yeah TD is decent not a bad bank either but there apps need to be updated. I don't like the process when open an account with them. It takes forever.

Re: anyone using WF recently?

@phaz0rz PayPal does process the ACH the same day but it depends on bank to process the ACH from the clearinghouse. So a bank like chase processes there batch asap. I asked chase once why did a credit card company take funds out of my account so fast because it depends on how fast recipients bank processes that ACH.

Re: anyone using WF recently?

WF works very fast for business accounts. I've done withdraw on Friday night at 9pm and had funds in business account by 9am Saturday. Although I could have opted for the 1hr 0.25 cents option. Not sure if Business accounts get processed faster.

Re: anyone using WF recently?

@ New Jersey max. I am going to try it out. Its good to know WF does the same. I do have biz PP with WF attached but usually get it within 1-2 days. So going to try this out. If so I am going to be using WF a lot more.

This is pretty much correct. They are very fast to process incoming ACH batches from PayPal. If I request before 7pm on a weeknight, I always see the fund hit my WF business acct by 9am the next morning, just like clockwork.

Re: anyone using WF recently?

I have to agree with Chase Bank....Super fast deposits, and I've done a lot of mix-matched deposits and zero issues. Side Note: Closing a checking account is easy as sending Chase an internal message.....next day account is closed, also opening new checking accounts is UBER easy.
