PayPal claim immediately closed not in my favor
 

Bought an item not on eBay.

I guess the guy is trying to scam. He provided a traking which is not coherent with my purchase (date and location are wrong).

Opened a claim with PayPal after 4 days from order.
Claim almost immediately closed in seller favor (they did not even review it). Did I issued it too early in time?

Am I done? Next move?

I would appeal the case or call Paypal.

I had something similar happen a while back except I was on eBay. Seller uploaded a 4 month old tracking number and my INR case was almost immediately closed because tracking showed delivery to someone 4 months ago. 5 minutes on the phone got me a refund.

Call paypal, It's just happened because of PP system , I'm sure they will open it again and let it settle inside your account.

that happened to me before on my "not as described" case against to Chinese website.
they shipped half of the orders and i explained it to pp.
pp didn't check any details and closed case on seller favor.
and after call, they didn't turn it back also. payment gone,

definitely don't appeal as that will change the reason to significantly different than described. It has happened to me just call paypal and as soon as a human looks as it you'll be good
