You'll either get it back - or you won't. But you can easily make the situation worse.

After reading this thread I'm concerned that I should withdraw my money out of BoA. Should I maintain the balance to build trust or not risk and pull all funds except for like $100?... TIA

Try to leave enough for say 2 refunds and one months of fees.

PayPal get all sweet and cuddly about seeing balances in accounts.

i prefer to not link my bank to a bitcoin exchange, the police/feds can seize your wallet on any bitcoin exchange. Also if your doing mismatched names already........that already looks suspicious and it even looks more suspicious that you are trying to clear money to bitcoin which banks are generally against already unless your like some rich person that can prove where all your clean money came from......then they wont care if you flush it to a bitcoin exchange because in their mind they know the money is 100% clean and taxed already.....

if anything, get a cold storage wallet and only buy btc with cash face to face to a cold storage wallet so you have full access to the private keys and the feds can only seize if they raid your house and find your cold storage wallet on your laptop this is where you should be creative and try to play keep away with your cold storage wallet...........this is all........wishful thinking......:spy:

Yeah, I cash mine out periodically and move the funds to an unlinked bank account at a different bank.

You can never be too safe.

I don't leave money in any account PP can access, and I try to never leave money in an account that may be subject to any degree of limitation.

The least trustworthy institution in the US after EB and PP are banks.

For BoA - I always keep a minimum balance to avoid monthly fees - I think it's either 500 or 1000 in chequing

Good news! Gotta email saying I can transfer my funds again and access is restored! I didn't do anything, in fact calling them was on my mind and I was planning on reaching out within the weeks end but the key here is just wait!
