How long until PayPal links me to old accounts if any?
 

I currently have a PayPal account in my name that's about 10 months old maybe? I've been selling on it that last 4 months. It has my SSN on it so I have a debit card to withdrawal.

Maybe 15 years ago about, in 2002-2004, somewhere in there, my first PayPal was in my name and got limited. I've had several others over the years with SSN attached that did get limited and it seems that they only eventually get me when I get a lot of sales - like the money coming in is the trigger.

But since I'm doing everything steadily now, am I just slowly waiting the inevitable? Or will I be good as they won't look into anything about me?

My current eBay, in my real name also, I got the seller limits up to 600 items/$27,000 per month in sales limits.

Any personal experience or advice? I just don't understand their rhyme/reason.

Its better if you can operate on your own name. But if your old account was given the heave hoe for a TOS/AUP violation you could be linked to the old account and get the new one shut down. There are many things that trigger a manual review of your account like making larger than normal withdraws, bigger transaction amounts, etc.

I have accounts in my name for paying for stuff that are fine. The minute I've tried to receive money on them, they get shutdown within a few days being linked to the old one.

One day they'll do a sweep and it'll be DOA.

This one has an unknown built in expiration date.

I dont understand why you are making multiple accounts with your SS?

What is the reasoning? Is this all before you knew about stealth?

Basically, give paypal a security risk fear and you will get cut. Cant get a stronger link that SS match as you are the only one in the world with it.

Yea because I didn't know of stealth as well as the others always working until I received too much in payments, not gradually increasing sales. But with stealths I take it I can just use them the same way, increase incoming revenue-in slowly and they're good? Thanks
