Any one heard of a bank Limit for PP
 

Tried to add a bank acct to my stealth acct today and got a message from paypal stating that this bank has its limit for paypal accts. Anyone heard of this or got the same message.
What did you do, just go to a larger bank?

Some fraud departmets have internal "limits" or other critera for handling some types of funds transfers (such as via ACH).

As far as PayPal having a limit for a specifc bank, I have never heard of such a thing.

What bank are you trying to add?

Sounds to me like its saying that bank account is already attached to another paypal, meaning its reached its limit.

Does it say this BANK has reached its limits, or does it say this Bank Account.

Just looked again and it says "Sorry, that bank is already linked to the maximum number of paypal accounts"
Doesnt say bank account linked and i have never used this account before

Typically banks don't recycle account numbers and assign new ones. That said, maybe this particular institution has done that.

One trick that might work is to insert a zero in front of the account number. So, 12345678 would become 012345678, etc.

Also double check the routing (ABA) number of the bank. Make sure it's correct.

This happened to me when I tried adding zeros to recycle a used bank account for a new PP.(kept saying this bank is already used even after adding zeros)
I think PP just ignores the zeros and starts from the numbers after zero.
anyway GL if it works.

This is because you linked your bank account to multiple paypal account then you got this message. I used to use my bank account to link to paypal account then remove the bank account and link to another paypal account and got this message. Try another bank.

It's rare, but there are banks that PP won't work with, mostly accounts attached to prepaid cards and the like.

Call the bank and see if they don't take this kind of transfer.

Try another bank if not.
