Personal vs Business account
 

I know this is a common thread subject but all other threads are relatively old.

I recently had a user here tell me privately that all business account cashouts are subject to a hold.

I have been out of the Stealth Loop™ for over a year and am still getting caught up on new security features like Canvas detection. SO I am equally out of touch on how Paypal has changed things regarding handling of accounts.

Sorry for noobish thread; I would appreciate any help. I will be fully verifying the stealth account as soon as I can after creation.

Oh BTW I will not be moving a ton of sales through my account (I do not anticipate doing so, I should say). I will be selling the occasional things on ebay and will be cashing money from online poker "Sweepstakes" site, with which Paypal is a partner (even in the USA).

I've never been treated differently by PP whether it's a business or personal account.

I've never seen any evidence they care either way.

However, other people may have a different experience, and they may well be correct. I'm just speaking to my personal experience.
