EIN question
 

Long story short, from what I learned if you want to add an EIN to a stealth paypal you need to specifically getting a EIN for LLC which is anonymous. However I consulted with my accountant and he told me in order to form a LLC one needs to announce on the newspaper etc and the total cost is about 1000$? is this the case or just local regulation? I do not plan to spend that kind of money on a stealth acct.thanks for any help.

There's no public announcement requirement in Florida, but I can't speak for anyplace else.

Get on your state website, division of corporations, and see what it says.

Filing in New York is crazy. I would not do that personally. You have 49 other choices with NV and WY being two of the best.

Also, you can get the EIN now without filing with any state.

so If you reside in NY you can open a LLC at any state? without any physical address??

Yes. You will need a virtual address such as a PO box or agent or any real address really. I would not pay the services of an company but they do offer mail forwarding and such for a minimal fee.
