Aged real Paypal acc. & new stealth acc. --- share my personal experiences
 

My real eBay account banned 2 years ago ( registered yr 2010 ) but my PayPal acc. is still good. During 2011-2012, I sold around $200-250k/year, then drop gradually to $70k/year before banned. From 2nd half of 2011, All the payments are instant payments w/o any exception. After eBay banned, I hadn't used PayPal for over a year( 2016 to 1st half of 2017 ) because I was not sure if it got limited or not. in Mid-2017, a customer insisted to pay via PayPal ( ~$500 ). I decided to take the risk so I gave him my PayPal acc. So magic--Ii was instant payment. I transferred all to my bank and left $0 balance.From that time till now, I received several payment from $500 to $2,000--all of them were instant payments. I transferred all the funds immediately, most of them via instant card transfer ). I even didn't upload the tracking number for the transactions which need to be shipped ( they are repeat customers )-----------This is my personal experiences. don't treat it as general rules

Now talk to stealth accounts:

I purchased 1st stealth account with feedback in 07/17, I started selling on eBay a month after purchase. I sold too fast ( sold over $4k in a month, then of course got PayPal limited ( soft ). I refunded $2k and left $2k in PayPal. I didn't upload any info required by PayPal. Hopefully the fund can be released in March.

I purchased 2nd stealth account in Nov, 2017. I started very slow this time. after 1.5 month browsing to built history, I started lists on eBay with low value items ( $10 to $50 ). I found the payment for item value lower than $25, they are instant payments. They items value over $24, they are pending until 3 days after delivery. I sold $250 in 4 weeks. I started to try small amount transfer ( $15) a couple days ago. I got 72 hours delay warning so the transaction pending. fortunately; 72 hours later, I saw the transaction completed. I'll try to do another transfer a couple days later to let PayPal get used to my patterns.

For newbie like me, sell slow and low risk item is crucial to start running stealth account. Hopefully my stealth account can stand for years. lol.

same here, they used to give me 72 hour holds on $100 withdrawls, now i worked my way up to 24 hour holds on withdrawals for $400, withdrawals under $200 are pretty much instant now. still got the 21 day hold on payments under $10 though... account is 30 days old
