PayPal ACH deposit returned
 

Although PayPal transfer completed but my bank returned it:

"We are only able to accept direct deposits where the receiver’s name on the deposit matches the name of the Chime account holder.

To correct this deposit, please contact the depositor who initiated this transaction."

Will my account be "toasted"?

Chime is one of those Prepaid Paid Debit Cards that include a Checking Account....they sent the money back because they don't accept mismatch name deposits.

MM76 is right.

You can't use online/virtual banks for stealth since the names don't match the account. Use real brick & mortar bank instead. Wells Fargo, BofA, Chase, Citi, etc...

Your PP may be OK, but you need to wait it out to know for sure.

From now on, use the banks that are confirmed to work based of the stealth guide list.

I don't know what you regarded as fine, nor do I know how you made yours.
This is why I kept telling people to just get the stealth guide so they can do it correctly from the beginning instead of making us guess where people do wrong.

Try to attach a real bank that accepts mismatched names. It'll probably be ok, but until you try you'll never know for sure.

Virtual banks usually require at least a very close name match.

Usually a failed ACH doesn't kill a PP account. In my experience, all that happens is Paypal removes the bank account from your PP after the failed transfer.

this is true it will just return the deposit back to your paypal and they sometimes will remove the bank account from your paypal

Its funny because there was a member on the forum praising these types of prepaid banks that DON'T work with mismatch name deposits.

When I first started a long time ago, I had to use the prepaid bank cards, and it worked but the name match had to be very, very close, and sometimes the card issuer called to confirm.
