13obby | 02-05-2018 03:29 PM | Re: Paypal Small Claims Court GOOD, I hate them I’ve lost thousands with them in the last 6 years but I learnt from my lessons and now I don’t leave to much money in my PayPal account but it’s so satisfying to hear you have won in court with them. Keep up the good work. |

BaggaDonuts | 02-07-2018 12:22 AM | Re: Paypal Small Claims Court You weren't able to withdraw the money after 6 months or what? $1,500 doesn't seem like enough to go to court over but maybe thats just me. |

nickopedia | 02-07-2018 07:42 AM | Re: Paypal Small Claims Court A close friend of mine lives in CA filed a small claims action against PayPal due to them holding funds past the 180 days. After he filed and PP was served at their San Jose office, they filed a motion to change venue to US Federal Court, which the judge denied. Once served, they will fight like hell to either dismiss the case, ask to move to another court, challenge on some technicality, etc. Once you get their attention, they likely would want to resolve the matter so you'll get the monkey off their back. Sending someone to court to defend may cost them far more than simply dealing with you.
Good luck. |
dachilla | 02-07-2018 07:57 AM | Re: Paypal Small Claims Court If you want to know where your paypal money went, just watch today's news.
Anyway I hope someone will sue the hell out of these *******s, so good luck op. |

Good luck. | You are talking anout a different legal system.
. Paypal in the UK is actually in a different legal jurisdiction, viz Luxembourg. these claims tend to stay in the Lower Court, not the US equivalent of Federal.

I wonder if you can sue paypal with them just holding the funds and not waiting the 180 days.:typing: I have some extra time and money to take paypal court just for just the fun of it really :bounce: |
TPS2016 | 02-07-2018 06:06 PM | Re: Paypal Small Claims Court SORRY! I forgot I posted this :)
So this is in the UK. As soon as a non paypal stealth account gets limited and I know they have connected with other closed accounts I take them to small claims court. Then I get my money max 4 weeks instead of waiting the 6 months!!!
Paypal always send a letter saying 'to save court costs' meaning they do not want to go to court. I would not recommend doing this on a stealth account BUT given that you wouldn't have to attend court, I think an attempt would be successful :) |

dallis | 02-09-2018 02:04 PM | Re: Paypal Small Claims Court Yeah, tell the judge, "no, the money isn't in my name, go ahead and give it to me anyway".
I'm sure that'll work out just fine. :) |

:) | Hi there, I am based in the UK, just came across your case with paypal in regards to the small claims court.
They just 180 days limited my account yesterday.
I cannot wait until September for my money.. Any chance you could help me with the small claims court process in getting my money released a lot quicker than that?
I can't pm you, can you pm the process?
Thanks. |
