When to attach bank account?
 

Ive always confirmed a bank account before listing on a US account. Will it bring any trouble to a new account if you sell say 25 items before attaching a bank account? I really dont want to waste an account number with the luck I've had lately.

I would say that you are fine not attaching a bank account right away.....I always make a bunch of sales before adding a bank account. In some cases I have added a VBA then added a bank account, but I would say you are fine not adding it right away.

@OP, a lot depends on what you are selling as well - nothing risky helps immensely

I have always tested the water with less risky items and it has worked to add it right away. But over the Holidays, the typical restriction came with that method.

Going to test this idea. I just hate losing an account number versus a bought account. Im paranoid about creating new bank accounts.

I have 6-7 year old PP accounts that I use every day that have NEVER had a bank account attached.

I wouldn't worry about it if I were you.

I never attach a bank account until I know for sure if the PP will accumulate enough funds to be worthwhile for regular, consistent transfers.

Otherwise I use them to purchase product from my suppliers, when they get $1-300 in them, I clear them out.

Why not verify with a VBA then?
