I highly doubt this will work for stealth purposes.
Especially if youre running multiple accounts.

Just like most any typical Merchant Processor.
They will do underwriting and standard KYC (identity) checks, just like a bank would.
Wouldn't work for stealth unless you plan on "borrowing" others identities.

What's the point?

I agree with nick - just another merchant account provider.

They claim to be "eBay compatible" but they aren't mentioned anywhere on eBay's accepted gateway page.

If the goal is to get away from using PP for eBay, checkout at the end of the day is going to be handled by a gateway, such as Authorize.net.

It might just be me, but if I encounter an EB seller who doesn't accept PP, I tend to move on. I think most people would.

I've also contacted this Merchant Inc. myself, and they are just another merchant account. Here is their email response from them from 2016:

Hello,

You do not need to have a Business License or to Have a Federal Tax ID, in order to process credit cards with our service. You may apply as a Sole Proprietor, in which case you can use your Legal First and Last name, as your business name and DBA. Instead of a Federal Tax Id (EIN), You can use your social security number. Please make sure that the name you register under is the same name associated with your checking account.

Sincerely,

Hello,

Yes Authorize.net will bill you for the gateway fee each month. Your eBay account would have to be reviewed by and underwriter to determine if we can approve an account or not for what you sell. If our main processor is unable to approve we do have a high risk processor we can refer you to.
