eBay Suspended & PayPal Limited Forums - Who else does paypal report to?

For tax purposes, I don't see otherwise.

If account is involved in illegal activity...I could see other government institutions being notified....

Just my logical viewpoint

PayPal and eBay have special departments dedicated to dealing with LE for any suspected criminal activity.

Just like any major company, they answer to just about any relevant state and federal agency where they operate.

I think the OP was more concerned about who his information is typically shared with aside from the IRS by PayPal. The answer is: It depends.

Typically tho, PayPal will send the IRS info about the income you made if they generate a 1099-K.
